Perfection Lab
“Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work”. -Aristotle.
Have you ever had an event where you need every detail to be thought of? Or an important visit that you need to make sure everything is going to impress? Maybe a meeting that has to go perfect, without interruptions or any issues? Well we have, many times.
We have always had a passion for analyzing details, considering all possible needs, interactions, processes and making sure that everything that happens and all the things that you have are meant to be and have a reason.
What does it mean to achieve perfection?
When we talk about “Perfection Lab” people tend to say that trying to achieve perfection is counterproductive, impossible or even boring, many say that perfection doesn’t really exist and then you just try to do your best. But how could someone live in an universe, galaxy or planet that works so smoothly, where everything has a reason, a balance, and still think that perfection is wrong? This is because they don’t know what they want to achieve. Achieving perfection does not mean to have everything in one. You won’t have a business meeting and a wedding in the same event.
Finding Balance
When you think about natures perfection, the first thing you have to notice is balance. In nature there is construction and destruction, growth and death. But what makes everything work in such a perfect way is the harmony that lies behind. Whether you are preparing a huge social event, a small business meeting or a sales event, you need to find balance to achieve perfection.
What does perfection mean to you?
You need to define your real goal to understand what would mean to achieve perfection. If you have a promotional event where you want customers to buy a new product, then your goal is not to sell the products, but to make your customers fall in love with it in every way, to have it in their mind anywhere they go. You have to change their lives before and after your event, and then they will buy your product. If you have a social event where you will gather people with common interests, your objective is not only to have as many people as possible, but to promote interactions and connections between them, to make that event the one they will remember for life, to make them spread the word.
